Henryville High School
In 2012, Henryville High School faced the devastating impact of a class 4 tornado, leaving nearly 40% of its 200,000 square foot (ft²) structure reduced to slab on grade, with significant damage.
Shipyard Panama City Beach
In 2018, a Shipyard in Panama City Beach, FL, faced the destructive force of Hurricane Michael, necessitating a comprehensive disaster recovery effort.
Woodbridge Apartments
In 2014, the Woodbridge Apartments in Charleston, SC, underwent a critical disaster recovery project following a fire that engulfed one of the buildings.
MrBeast Dominoes
In 2023, the MrBeast Dominoes Project in North Carolina unfolded as a remarkable structural engineering venture. The ambitious goal was to break the existing world record for domino collapse.
Blue Light Apartments
In 2018, CSC oversaw the completion of the Blue Light Apartments, a notable structural engineering project valued at $23 million.
Meadow Branch Phase II
In 2020, Charlottesville, VA witnessed the completion of a series of new buildings to comprise Meadow Branch Apartments – Phase II, a multi-family, 135 unit apartment complex addition.
Altec Expansion
The Altec plant, in Creedmoor, NC has undergone multiple expansions in the last few years. CSC has worked on smaller renovations as well as their larger additions – the largest of which is a 177,000 square foot (ft²), long clear-span facility for bucket truck manufacturing.
Biotech Upfits
CSC has engaged in interior upfit projects for extensive projects across dozens of biotechnology facilities across the southeast.
Sam's Branch Water Reclamation Facility
Since the facility broke ground in 2022, CSC has been involved in many aspects of the new Sam’s Branch Water Reclamation Facility located in Clayton, NC. With construction costs valued at over $200M, the facility is set to open in 2025.
NC Moulding Project
In 2023, the NC Moulding project in Lexington, NC, unfolded as a distinctive and time-sensitive structural engineering venture classified under both disaster recovery and specialty projects.
Double Crane Lift
The Double Crane Lift project in Raleigh, NC, emerged as a highly intricate structural engineering endeavor following a 5-alarm fire that melted the building crane.
Studio C
The Owner required a large, high-ceilinged, open space without obstruction to allow flexible use of this space for their production purposes.
Ferguson
In 2011, Ferguson in Raleigh, NC, was damaged by a tornado, requiring emergency structural evaluation and repair design.
Creedmoor Recreation Center
This project consisted of a recreation center with a two-level structure, including a central high gymnasium open to the roof and the second story around the perimeter of the gymnasium with an indoor walking track.
TROSA Medical
This new construction building is a two-story steel framed medical office clinic. The design for the 10,000 square foot (ft²) building included an exterior staircase and structural steel canopies.
Champs Tire Center
In 2010, the Champs Tire Center project in Creedmoor, NC, presented a notable structural engineering endeavor within the retail sector.
Independent Plaza
In 2011, CSC was contacted about Independent Plaza a commercial and office space, located in Cary, NC.
