Independent Plaza

In 2011, CSC was contacted about Independent Plaza a commercial and office space. Located in Cary, NC, this project involved the construction of a 22,200 sqft pre-engineered building, featuring brick veneer and designed to accommodate general commercial lease space and a medical supply store. The structural engineering team played a pivotal role in the entire design process, addressing challenges such as arched windows and canopies, adding a distinctive architectural element to the project. The project also included a vehicle bay with garage doors and a car lift, to allow space for custom modification for vehicles needing accomodations of wheelchairs and other special needs. Rendering images were utilized to visualize and refine the design, resulting in the successful completion of Independent Plaza as a versatile and architecturally unique commercial space.
